Clinical Utilities & Calculators

Three informational tools for organizing symptoms, comparing a lab value with commonly cited ranges and reflecting on daily habits. None of them diagnose a condition.

These tools are for educational and informational use only. Results are not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. For urgent symptoms call 911; for thoughts of self-harm call or text 988.

Diagnostic Screening Checklist

Select what applies to build a structured, informational summary you can bring to a clinician. Selecting any urgent sign switches the output to emergency guidance.

Biomarker Reference Range

Compare a lab value with commonly cited adult reference points. Laboratory ranges vary by laboratory, method, population and clinical context, so use the range printed on your own report as the primary reference.

Health Index Evaluator

A simple 0 to 100 wellness reflection based on activity, sleep, nutrition, weight-for-height, tobacco, alcohol and stress. It describes habits only and is not a diagnosis.

Understanding Clinical Reference Data

A number on a report is only the start of an interpretation. These four ideas explain why the same result can mean different things.

One result, three hypothetical lab ranges

Lab A
Lab B
Lab C

The gold line is one identical result. It sits inside two of the bars and just outside the third. Values are illustrative and not tied to any real marker.

Laboratory values vary

Methods, equipment and reference populations differ, so ranges are not identical between laboratories.

Screening is not diagnosis

A flagged value prompts follow-up. Confirming a condition usually needs further testing and clinical evaluation.

Context matters

Age, sex, medicines, pregnancy, fasting state and other conditions can all shift what a value means.

Professional interpretation

A clinician can combine results with history and examination, which no online tool can do.
